Wigan & Leigh Hospice relies on the support of our community across the Borough. We are a registered charity and currently need to raise £12,000 every day to keep on providing all of our services.
Every year we provide hospice care to over 1,200 local people who are living with a life-limiting or terminal illness. We also care for those people close to our patients.
We are a charity and receive less than a third of our funding from the NHS. We have to raise over £4.4million every year so that we can continue delivering all of our services for those who need them.
There are a lot of different ways in which you can help the hospice from joining in one of our organised events, to fundraising, volunteering your time or remembering the hospice in your will. We appreciate it all and you'll be helping to support local people who need care and support.
Could you skip a cup of coffee every month and donate the money you'd normally spend?
What will you do? Organise a charity brunch, a walking challenge with friends and family, or dance all day?
